LTO Tape Drives

LTO tape drives (Linear Tape-Open) are the most cost effective solution for archival storage of data. Our range of LTO tape drives can hold anything from 100GB of data all the way up to 800Gb. This is often a very attractive solutions thanks to the capacity and price benefits.

SDLT Tape Drives

Super Digital Linear Tape (SDLT) is a popular tape drive technology used today. SDLT drives offer up to 300GB of storage with the additional benefit of data compression. ADIC/Quantum Ultrium 3 Library drive with tray to fit the i500 and i2000 libraries/Autoloader. These LTO3 drives have a fibre interface and are 4GB so they offer the very fastest transfer speeds. They are fully refurbished and come with a full warranty. Castle Computers are able to offer installation and maintenance for these products.

ADIC LTO2 Library drive with tray for the i500 and i2000 libraries. These drives have a fibre interface and offer excellent transfer rates. They are refurbished but come with a full warranty and tested to Manufacturers specifications. We are also able to offer installation and maintenance for these Ultrium drives.

HP LTO920 Autoloader drive for the MSL2024, MSL4048 and the G2 1/8 Autoloaders. We are able to offer these drives refurbished from stock with a 90 day return to base warranty. The Ultrium 920 drive comes with a LVD interface and is complete with the trays so it is ready to be installed without delay. Castle Computers have the complete range of LTO drives for these Autoloaders from LTO448 to LTO1760 and LTO1840 LTO4 drives.

Dell PV122T Autoloader with 1 VS80 DLT Drive. Available as both a rackmount and desktop they are refurbished with a 90 day warranty. They offer an excellent back up solution for a small office and enable the user to use 7 back up tapes and 1 cleaning tape without having to change the media by hand. We also stock the PV122T with LTO1, LTO2 and SDLT320 drives.
